Home Tab

The Home tab contains commands related to using the Clipboard and importing records.

Clipboard

  Paste

• • Paste pastes the contents of the Clipboard into the current diagram or sheet.

  • Paste As Same Level Item pastes the item at the same level as the currently selected item.

  • Paste As Next Level Item pastes the item below the currently selected item.

  Cut cuts the selected text or graphic to the Clipboard. Data stored on the Clipboard can be pasted into this and other applications.

  Copy copies the selected text or graphic to the Clipboard. Data stored on the Clipboard can be pasted into this and other applications.

Templates

  Report Templates allows you to create a custom report template.

  Import Templates opens an import template that is used for importing "bill of materials" (BOM) files into Lambda Predict.

Hierarchy

  Delete deletes the selected project, item or record and all associated data. There is no undo for delete.

  Find allows you to find specific records in the system hierarchy.

  Move Up moves the currently selected record up within the system hierarchy.

  Move Down moves the currently selected record down within the system hierarchy.

Launch

  Another Synthesis Application provides a drop-down list of the other Synthesis applications that are installed on your computer. When you click an icon, the same database will automatically be opened in the new application.
